The Delta Iota chapter has two formals a year.

Phi Formal happens in the fall and is a celebration of the new members that joined us through formal recruitment. The new members pick the theme, such as Masquerade or 1920's, and everyone usually tries to dress for the theme. It is a great chance for our new and initiated members to get to know each other better.

Carnation Ball is the formal for saying goodbye to our seniors. Each of the seniors give a gift to a sister that they are especially close to, or who they think would benefit from it the most. There is no specific theme, but it is a formal event and is a chance for our sisters to show just how classy they are.

In addition to formals, Phi Mu mixes with all other fraternities and sororities on campus. These mixers change each year, ranging from tea parties to field days, Karaoke to meals, and much more.
